Wedding Venue Case Study:
Best Western Plus Stoneridge Inn
& The Rose Chapel

How Top Suite Increased Leads, Showings & Booked More Weddings

The purpose of this case study is to share how a hotel with a wedding venue and long-standing manual processes can benefit from modernizing their lead generation process.

The Situation

The Stoneridge Inn and Rose Chapel have been hosting weddings and receptions for over 20 years. With 3 ball rooms and a ceremony chapel, weddings are a big part of the hotel’s business.

What Needed To Be Improved

While the property had been doing a good job driving leads from wedding shows and online directories, their website did not contribute as many leads and they were reliant on 3rd party leads. In addition, the manager was using a notebook to manage all leads and followed up with each lead manually. While she did a great job and was very organized, the process took a lot of time and leads would often fall through the cracks if she did not get a response from the first email or voicemail.

What We Learned

People can be motivated to engage with a hotel’s Facebook for a chance at a free night stay.

A big increase in engagement really expands the reach of the post.

Extended reach allows for even more engagement.

People get really excited about contests. A lot of “pick me” comments were made. Many asked their friends to like/comment on their photos.

Many comments mentioned that Stovall’s is their favorite place to stay near Disneyland. These types of comments go long way in strengthening brand loyalty.
