Airbnb has created a new Travel Stories feature on their app that allows guests to share short, 10-second videos of their travel experiences with other Airbnb travelers.
The video clips can be edited in the app and allows users to add their own captions, tags, and locations.
Airbnb has joined in on the recent stories trend that many other social media sites have had success with. This is currently a new pilot, so it is only available to select Airbnb users as of right now.
This new feature might be great and become popular for many travelers, or it might fizzle out trying to stand next to social media giants like Facebook and Instagram. We will keep an eye on this and see what happens!
